Mini Shack

Almost all of my ham'in is now done in the Mini Shack, the Main Shack is still there, mostly just used for work bench stuff and backup. Here is a picture of the new dust covers I purchased specially made for my Kenwood ts-2000x and the Tokyo Hy-Power 500V from Stan/W6ON.

Antenna Farm

Starting at the left of the picture at tower #1 is my M2 4x9 EME/terrestrial array with a 30 element cross polarized UHF yagi centered all @ 45' with my Davis Vantage Pro 2 wx station at the bottom. Centered starting at the bottom of the tower is a couple scanner antenna's, then a 3 element 6 meter yagi followed by two 24 element loop yagi's for 1296 MHz, last a Diamond VHF/UHF vertical at the top. Then the little tripod right of the center tower has my 88.1 MHz 1/4 wave radio station antenna, more information on that here. The tower on the right is new, stacked to 30 feet with a Mosley ta-33 tri-band yagi at the top, turned with a Yaesu DXA-800 rotor.

1296 MHz Antenna's

Here is my setup for 1296, two of the Directive Systems 24 element looper yagi's. I run these with Andrews 1/2 superflex jumpers and 75' of Andrews 7/8's down into the mini shack to the Kenwood ts-2000x.             

SP-2000 Preamp

Here is what I use for my 2 meter preamp, it is a SSB SP-2000 mast-mount preamp made in Germany. Uses a Mitsubishi MGF 1302 as the main FET to amplify the signal to an adjustable 10-20 dB of Gain and a Noise Figure of 0.8

Terrestrial-EME-Satellite Array

M2 4x9 and M2 436CP30 Satellite Yagi @ 45'

Here is my 4x9 M2 antenna array, consists of 4 of the M2 9SSB antenna's, with M2 phasing harness/power divider, Andrews 1/2 Flex jumper at tower and then down to 90' of Andrews 7/8'' hardline down to the shack. I have a SSB sp-2000 preamp between the flex jumper and 7/8's hardline. I use this array for everything from terrestrial communication, EME and satellites, works great!
